I know it’s a bit of a weird one to pick as the character design for later games (especially Blitz) is, again in my opinion, far superior as there has been so much more thought and detail put into them. I think the reason this piece stands out for me is the actual art style, it’s beyond the initial sketch and before the final polish of highlights and shadows, etc and I just think it looks smart.
